Toronto: we spent a week there, in a downtown apartment. Canada’s largest city has been calling us for a long time: the CN Tower and its glass floor, Ripley’s Aquarium at the foot of the tower, the ROM and the AGO, Casa Loma castle, the car-free islands a 13-minute ferry ride away, St. Lawrence Market — and, one day trip away, Niagara Falls. Every activity in our guide has been checked against official sources and recent traveller reviews, prices and hours included — and our week on the ground confirmed the selection.
